“I highly recommend Heather, she has a particular gift for working with dogs, and is a tremendous resource to any dog owner who needs someone to call on for dog sitting, dog training, and dog walking. When we got our dog, Kim, we employed Heather to provide some training for her when she was a puppy, which was very effective. Heather also regularly dog sits for us when we go on holidays.” Hilary – Owner of Kim (Red Setter)
“We really value the care you afford both Molly and Daisy. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our two little ladies are in good hands and they have developed greatly under your care.” Kerrie and Fergus – Owners of Molly and Daisy (Cockerpoos).
Flossie, a lab/retriever cross was born on the 1st of September 2020 and came to us at eight weeks old. She lives with me and my sister so during successive lockdowns she had very little contact with other adults or dogs and no contact with children. She growled and barked at any strange person and we could not have people visit. The vet, who told me that she lacked socialisation skills, gave me contact details for Heather and from our first meeting we began to see an improvement in Flossie as Heather advised us on how to manage her fear of people and dogs.
We had a mix of private and class sessions together with training walks and group walks. At Christmas we were able to have family visit us and Flossie welcomed the new people and enjoyed their company. Heather was a godsend for us.

The video is of a training walk I did with Flossie where we worked on getting her comfortable with people passing by at a distance (by pairing it with treats!) as well as some general lead manners.
Coconut is a five-year old rescue dog and was nervous with people and other dogs. Heather came to the house for private training and gave me great tips and exercises for building Coconut’s confidence. We then joined the group training walks, which are a lovely way to continue training. Coconut is much better on the lead now and more confident with people. Happy to highly recommend Heather.
